Narrative

Narrative is a antique store in Oakland, CA. You’ll find it at 590 2nd St, Oakland, CA 94607. It’s one of 25 secondhand and resale shops we track in Oakland.

The store keeps hours seven days a week, including Sunday, staying open as late as 7 PM on its longest days. Thrift hours change seasonally and around holidays, so a quick call before a long drive is worth it.

Antique dealers price by research, age, and provenance, so expect fewer accidental bargains but far more depth per shelf — furniture, glass, jewelry, and collectibles with real history. Many dealers negotiate on larger pieces, especially for cash.

Shoppers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 64 reviews. 6 more secondhand shops are within driving distance, listed below, so it can anchor a longer thrifting circuit.
