About Plato's Closet

Plato's Closet is a buy-sell-trade franchise (Winmark Corporation) focused on current-style clothing for teens and young adults. Stores buy gently used, on-trend items outright and resell them at roughly 50–70% off mall retail.

Donating (or selling) to them

This is a resale buyer, not a charity: bring your items to the counter and they make a cash offer on what fits their current inventory needs. No appointment needed at most stores; unaccepted items come back to you. No donation receipts.

Shopping there

Inventory skews to recognizable mall and streetwear brands from the last couple of years. Because stores buy daily, racks turn over constantly.
