About Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Habitat ReStores are home-improvement thrift stores run by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates. They sell furniture, appliances, cabinets, doors, windows, lighting, and building materials — much of it donated by contractors, retailers, and homeowners mid-renovation. Proceeds fund Habitat’s home construction and repair work.

Donating (or selling) to them

ReStores accept the things most thrift stores refuse: building materials, cabinets, large appliances in working order, and furniture. Many affiliates offer free pickup for large items — check your local ReStore’s page.

Condition standards are practical: complete, working, and resellable. Most locations can’t take open paint, unframed glass, or heavily used mattresses.
